Capacity development IT (BMVI)

The European Commission has initiated and requested that an implementation of large-scale IT systems be implemented in the member countries. The project has the objective that the Swedish Coast Guard will have access to relevant police systems and a knowledge base for making decisions about the future development, operation and maintenance of IT systems for border management, including the IO components, and communication infrastructure for the Coast Guard. The development project consists of several different mappings, feasibility studies and specifications of actions and measures. The project will result in an implementation and management plan for the implementation of new IT systems.
