Organisation

The Coast Guard is a civilian government agency headed by a director general. The authority also has a director general who is the deputy director general and shall otherwise be at the director general's disposal for special matters.

The Coast Guard is organized into a management and the following six departments:

• Director General´s office
• IT department
• Engineering and Logistics department
• Method development department
• Operations department
• HR and finance department
