As an employer, the Swedish Coast Guard processes personal data in its personnel administration activities. It may, for example, be in connection with an application for a job with us at the Swedish Coast Guard. The personal data is then processed in order for us to be able to administer the applications and fill the position. The applications are stored for two years. The processing of data during a recruitment process is carried out under the legal basis of public interest. Personal data is also processed when we make salary payments. This is done on the legal basis of a contract.
