Permission to enter when participating in response and search-and-rescue measures

When a foreign state vessel participates with response and search-and-rescue measures or trains for such measures on Swedish territory, permission to enter Swedish territory is needed.

For training purposes a request for such permission has to be lodged at least six weeks before the planned training measures are planned to take place.

In cases of emergency, a request should be sent in as soon as possible.

The application, signed and converted to pdf-format, should be sent together with a separate Excel-file with coordinates given in WGS84 DDM (for example 56°10.339'N 16°56.537'E) through regular diplomatic channels to: registrator@kustbevakningen.se
